Barricade or Safety tape is a fast, effective way to warn about or restrict entry to hazardous areas. These tapes are highly visible and are recommended to be used to alert around areas that the public or workers should exercise caution.

Detectable Tape
Detectable tape is used when non-metallic pipe is installed underground. It facilitates locating or tracing out the line in the future. Because it is detectable by metal detector, if it is laid on top of the pipe prior to backfilling, your pipeline will be easier to find in the future. Plastic pipe such as polyethylene, PVC and other non-metallic pipe should never be installed without detectable marking tape. In some locations it is required by code. We Have the following underground warning tape in stock. The detectable tape is 5 mil thick. All rolls are 1000’ in length. Other lengths up to 6000’ may be available. Non-Detectable Tape
Non-detectable tape is 4 mil thick and comes in 3” AND 6” widths. Non-Detectable tape functions as a the last "Stop Sign" to prevent costly dig-in damage to underground pipes or to identify a pipes contents. Prevent accidental damage due to mis-identification of pipe contents by marking your pipe with this style tape. If the pipe is non-metallic, we recommend the Detectable tape. All rolls are 1000’ in length. Other lengths up to 6000’ may be available. Prices as low as $8.50 when ordered in quantity!
